William Jesse Knight

Bill was born on December 27th, 1935 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Warren Knight and Bee Brignac-Knight.

He attended and graduated from Aradia Baptist Academy and attended Louisiana College majoring in Theology. He went on to serve in the United States Army for three years including 16 months in Korea. During his time in the Army he achieved the rank of sergeant and was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defence Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.

After his military career he went on to become a pastor. One of his greatest joys was his career as a Pastor serving at Sutter Creek Baptist Church in Sutter Creek.

Bill is survived by his wife Linda Lou Knight, daughters Tammy Lynn Knight, and Janet Pope and son Jack Alan Stouffer.

A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at 11:00am on Saturday April 20th at Hillsdale Church located 6201 Hillsdale Blvd. Sacramento, California 95842.

When at last I say goodbye, don't let your tears keep falling. For when my time has come, I'll hear my savior calling. And as He takes my hand, all pain and cares will disappear, and He will gently whisper, "Welcome Home, I'm glad you're here."
