Adan G. Longoria entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 22, 2023 at a nursing home in Kingsville, Texas at the age of 84. He was born on July 26, 1939 to Guilebaldo Longoria and Estefanita Garza Longoria in Falfurrias, Texas. Adan was a United States Army Veteran and after returning from the military, he attended college for a few years. He then worked a few different places before becoming the proud owner of the Stop-N-Go convenience store of Falfurrias for many years. Adan was a private person but never shied away from helping others whenever they were in need. He was a good businessperson and an amazing uncle. He adores his nieces and nephews and they loved him deeply.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bildo Longoria, Manuel Longoria, Donaciano Longoria and Robert Longoria and sisters, Lala Galindo, Elva Lozano and Nilda Navarro.
He is survived by his brothers, Guile Longoria Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas, and David Longoria of Falfurrias; sisters, Imelda Longoria of Corpus Christi and Bole L. Garcia of Falfurrias; adopted children, Robert Longoria Jr. of McAllen, Texas and Estefanita Longoria of Dallas, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Thursday September 28, 2023 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias and services will conclude with Burial at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
