

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Agapito Viviano "AV" Canales, a cherished husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend to all. Born on December 5, 1970 to Guadalupe and the late Olivia R. Canales, AV spent his life dedicated to his family and spreading joy to others. We take comfort in knowing that he was welcomed into heaven with open arms by his loving mother and our lord and savior Jesus Christ on Friday, September 6, 2024.
A.V. was a general manager for his family owned business, Canales Concrete, where we worked beside his father for many years in Hebbronville, Texas and surrounding areas.
AV leaves behind many precious memories to be cherished by his wife, Megan Canales and his children, JonAvy, Avianna, Ava, and Avan Canales. He will also be lovingly remembered by his father, Guadalupe Canales; sister, Olympia Sciarrafa; parents- in-law, John & Dahlia Forbes; sisters-in-law, Tiffaney and Stacey; nieces, Brenda, Lily, Myka and Violet; nephews, Trey, Ryan and Victor; as well as numerous other beloved family members and friends.
Pallbearers include John Becker, Jr., Michael Flores, Victor Garcia, Jr., Jose Amador Garza, Raul Garza, Carlos Ramirez, Rene Ramirez, and Steve Ramirez. Honorary Pallbearers are John Becker, JonAvy Canales, Jose Canales, Henry Escamilla, Bryan Forbes, John Forbes, Guillermo Garza, Rogelio Hinojosa, Trey Sciarrafa, and Marina Vasquez.
The Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2024 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville with Visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville with services concluding at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
