Alba Estella Naranjo entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 20, 2024 in San Marcos, Texas at the age of 87. She was born on August 10, 1936 to Ygnacio Vela and Feliciana Saldana Vela in Falfurrias, Texas. Estella devoted many years of service as a Secretary for Falfurrias Junior High School with Brooks County ISD. She married the love of her life, Casimiro Naranjo, III and together they raised three children.
Estella was a devout Catholic and active member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias and Church Choir for many years. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and the Altar Society. Alongside her husband Casi, Estella dedicated her time as a CCD Teacher, Eucharist Minister, Engaged and Marriage Encounter and attended many Search Retreats.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Casimiro “Casi” Naranjo, III and siblings, Leonel Vela, Sr., Thelma Vela, Hilda Vela, Benilde Gutierrez and Maria Lydia Perez.
She is survived by her two sons, Noel (Sarah) Naranjo of Missouri City, Texas and Noe (Diana Saenz) Naranjo of Falfurrias; Texas; daughter, Norma (Roy) Serrano of San Marcos, Texas; three grandchildren, Ryan Naranjo, Jared (Natasha) Monical and Kristen Monical; four great-grandchildren, Lilly Monical, Owen Monical, Camilla Monical and Jonah Monical; brother, Rumaldo (Yolanda) Vela; sister, Soila Perez and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Pallbearers will be Larry Molina, Jr., Leonel Vela, Jr., Rick Selvera, Michael Guerra, Edmund Perez, Ryan Naranjo, Jared Monical and Anthony Zarate.

Rosary will be recited at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias. Services will conclude with Burial at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Falfurrias.
