Alfonso Ramirez Jr.

Alfonso Ramirez Jr, entered into eternal rest on August 6, 2025 at a hospital on Laredo, Texas, at the age of 85. He was born on May 30, 1940 in Hebbronville, Texas to Alfonso Ramirez and Minerva Pena Ramirez.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Alma Ines Ramirez; and siblings, Florinda DeLeon and Manuel Davila.

Alfonso leaves behind many fond memories that will forever be treasured by his daughters, Iraselma (Allan) Besse of Corpus Christi, Texas, Alma Inez (Drew) Schell of Corpus Christi, and Raquel Minerva Ramirez of Hebbronville; brothers, Genaro Alvarado Jr. and Hector Alvarado both of California; sister, Elma Diana Alvarado of Laredo; four grandchildren, Marina Elliott, Joseph Martinez, Paul Besse, and Brandon Besse; 10 great-grandchildren; nieces, Diana Lee Pena, Gloria Pena, Josie Sellers, and Barbara Villalpando; nephews, Abel Pena, Johnny Pena, Andy Garza, John Garza, Joe Garza, and Rene Alvarado; and the Palacios Family from Laredo.

Visitation will start at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams, Hebbronville followed by a Memorial Graveside Service at 10:00 a.m. at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
