Alfred "Freddie" Joe Garcia Sr.

Alfred “Freddie” Joe Garcia, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at a hospital in Kingsville, Texas at the age of 84. He was born on October 29, 1937 to Taurino Garcia, Sr. and Mary Autry Garcia in Falfurrias, Texas. Alfred was a veteran of the United States Army. He was the owner and operator of Vista Tire in Falfurrias for over 40 years and worked alongside his wife, Marina. Freddie was a very knowledgeable person and enjoyed staying informed and up to date on politics and history. He was an avid reader and lover of books and crossword puzzles. He was not only a smart man but a physically and mentally strong man as well. He cared deeply for his family and was a loving and supportive husband, father and grandfather.
He was reunited in Heaven with his parents and six siblings, Inez, Taurino, Jr., Mary Alice, Roberto, Gene and Exiquio.
Freddie is survived by his wife, Marina A. Garcia of Riviera, Texas; son, Alfred “Joey” Garcia, Jr. of Riviera; daughters, Debra Perez and Libby Garcia both of San Antonio, Texas; brother, Abby (Diane) Garcia of Kingsville; sister, Lulu Garcia of California; two grandsons, Alexander and Christopher Perez; great-granddaughter, Brynnlee Perez and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 28, 2022 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias.
