Amelia Ayala Zamora

Amelia Ayala Zamora entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 14, 2016 at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of 66. She was born on October 15, 1950 to Juan Ayala and Antonia Medrano Ayala in San Miguel, El Salvador. Amelia was a housewife who loved to care for her husband of over 35 years and her family. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking and making people laugh. Her favorite pastime was enjoying the company of her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Raul Ayala. She is survived by her husband, Alonzo Zamora, Jr. of Concepcion, Texas; daughter, Victoria (Michael) Rivera of Falfurrias, Texas; three grandchildren, Chi-Rho Rivera, Halo Rivera and Cristos Rivera all of Falfurrias; two brothers, Armando Medrano and Carlos Ayala; two sisters, Blanca Hernandez and Irma Ayala and her brother-in-law, Gabriel (Elma) Zamora of Kingsville, Texas.

Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams. Burial will follow at the Garza-Zamora Family Cemetery in Falfurrias.
