Angelita R. Ramos

Angelita R. Ramos passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at a nursing home in Hebbronville, Texas at the age of 90. She was born in Hebbronville, Texas on September 18, 1924 to Julian Ramirez and Manuela Longoria. She worked for many years as a secretary and retired at the age of 80 from the Community Action Council of South Texas. Angelita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great –grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Juan A. Ramos. She is survived by her two daughters, Rosa L. (AP) Wedgworth, Jr. and Hilda L. (Mario) Guerra both of Hebbronville; one brother, Guadalupe (Carmen) Longoria of Pecos, Texas, three grandchildren, Leonel M. (Sandra) Guerra, Jr. of Hebbronville, Luis M. Guerra of San Antonio, Texas and Clarissa I. Trevino of Hebbronville, Texas; four great-grandchildren, Daniel Guerra, Catalina Guerra, Laura Pilar Guerra and Leia M. Guerra all of Hebbronville and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Leonel Mario Guerra, Jr., Luis Manuel Guerra, Rolando Ortiz, Lauro Longoria, Bryan Gonzalez, Jr. and Rene Molina. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Jose A. Gutierrez, Ruben Lopez and Joe Melton.

Rosary will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Hebbronville with visitation beginning at 11:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville and services will conclude with a burial at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
