Arnulfo Cantu entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at his residence in Hebbronville, Texas, at the age of 75. He was born on April 4, 1951 to Adalberto Cantu and Rafaela Vasquez Cantu in Hebbronville.
He was a Mechanic Supervisor for the Ford Dealership in Hebbronville for many years before his retirement.
He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Sandra Garza, Norma V. Cantu, Adalberto "Sonny" Cantu, Graciela Guerrero, Hilaria "Lala" Garza, and Esmeralda Arredondo; and the mother of his children, Leticia Herrera.
Arnulfo leaves behind many fond and precious memories that will forever be treasured by his children, Arnulfo Cantu Jr., Melissa Cantu, and Pamela (Arnold) Ramirez all of Hebbronville, and Laura (Homer) Utley of Kingsville, Texas; siblings, Elvia C. Ramirez and Crisela C. Mendoza, both of Hebbronville, Evelina Diaz of Freer, Texas, Albessa C. (Leonel) Vela of Edinburg, Texas, Arnoldo (Mari) Cantu of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Roldan (Yvonne) Cantu of Hebbronville; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be Juan Jimenez, Jesus Jimenez, Javier Jimenez, Homer Utley II, Homer Utley Jr., and Arnold Ramirez.
Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2026 with a Chapel Service at 2:30 p.m. at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville. Burial will follow at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
