On August 6, 2025, our beloved Arturo M. Vela also known as “Tucho” was called to be with the Lord. He was born on December 12, 1962 to Guadalupe Z. Vela and Dora Mendez Vela in Falfurrias, Texas.
Arturo is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Emede M. Vela, and sister, Dora Jasso.
He is survived by brothers, Guadalupe Vela Jr., Rodolfo Vela, Alejandro Vela, and Reynaldo Vela; sisters, Cruz Garza, Esperanza Florez, and Maria Leticia Quiroz all of Falfurrias; and numerous nieces and nephews.
