Asuncion C Mendieta

Asuncion "Chonita" C Mendieta 99 passed away Saturday June 17, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 15, 1917 to Eulalio and Pomposa Garcia Carbajal in the town of La Reforma, TX. Asuncion was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Amadeo G Mendieta, a son Amador Mendieta, three sisters and three brothers. Asuncion is survived by her children Andres (Pam) Mendieta of Falfurrias, TX, Angelina (Henry) Saenz, Alicia (Luis) Canales both of Kingsville, TX and Angelica (Servando) Resendez of Banquete, TX. A brother Reynaldo Carbajal of Falfurrias, and three sisters Matilde Salazar and Jovita Chapa both of Kingsville and Leonor Garza of Corpus Christi, TX. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and cousins.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday June 20, 2017 with a Rosary being Prayed at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday June 21, 2017 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Mendieta Ranch Family Cemetery.

On behave of her loving grandchildren, Andres Jr.,Melissa, Nora, Noelia, Fred and Maria Mendieta, a reception will follow at the Civic Center in Concepcion, Tx.
