Beatrice Garza Cantu

Beatrice G. Cantu 75 passed away August 26, 2010 at a Clute Nursing Home. Beatrice was born March 21, 1935 to Francisco and Inez Tanguma Garza in Premont, TX. She was a clerk with the city of Premont before her retirement. Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers Gilbert, Fidencio, Benjamin and Cavanaugh Garza. She is survived by two sons Rick (Yvonne) Cantu of Odem, TX, and Al Cantu of Pearland, TX. A daughter Lorena Cantu of Angelton, TX. Three brothers Frank (Yolanda) Garza of St. Paul, TX, Hermengildo Garza of Chicago, IL, and Orlando Trevino of Bakersfield, CA. a sister Alberta (Raymundo) Garza of Corpus Christi, TX. Six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Monday August 30, 2010 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams.

Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday August 31, 2010 at the St. Theresa’s Catholic Church.

Interment will follow at the Premont Cemetery.
