Beatrice V Garcia

Beatrice Garcia passed away Sunday, June 15, 2014 at a hospital in Kingsville, Texas at the age of 87. She was born May 19, 1927 to Telesforo and Guadalupe Garza Vela in the town of Falfurrias, Texas. Beatrice was a restaurant cook for many years before her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Edna Gonzalez and Efrenda Montalvo; her son, Eligio Garcia and two granddaughters, Lee Ann Quintanilla and Elisa Salgado.

Beatrice is survived by three sons, Eliseo (Tomasita) Garcia, Jr. of Illinois, Erasmo (Sally) Garcia and Erlin Garcia both of Falfurrias; four daughters, Alicia (Eleazar) Esquivel of Illinois, Enedina (Victor) Villarreal of San Antonio, Texas, Enedelia (Richard) Salgado and Eliza (Ruben) Duran both California; 23 grandchildren and 38 great- grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 20, 2014 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias. Interment will follow at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
