Benito Marquez Jr.

Benito is preceded in death by his parents Benito Marquez Sr. and Victoriana G. Marquez. His beloved brother, Fidel Marquez; two nephews, Sonny Colunga and Hector Mario Marquez; one niece Kristen Pierce.

Benito is survived by his loving sisters, Esperanza "Hope" Marquez, and Elvira Marquez both of Hebbronville, Texas and Minnie (Valentin) Colunga of Corpus Christi, Texas. Numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Benito graduated from Hebbronville High School and participated in track. He also attended Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, Texas part time learning computer technology. Later he decided to work for Wright Material Inc. and a new door opened. Benito enjoyed music and sports as well as motorcycle rides when possible.

He will be missed by his family and all who knew him.

Rest in peace in Our Lord's Kingdom.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. with a Holy Rosary at 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will take place at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
