Candelaria G. Cavazos entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at a nursing home in Premont, Texas at the impressive age of 95. She was born on June 14, 1925 to Ricardo Gonzalez and Candelaria De Los Santos Gonzalez in Premont. Candelaria married Adan Cavazos on May 14, 1953 and together they raised three children. She retired from working for over 30 years as a Clerk for Turner Nursery of Premont. Candelaria had a strong Christian faith and was a dedicated member of the woman’s ministry group from the Templo Monte De Olivar Church in Premont.
Candelaria was reunited in Heaven with her parents; husband Adan Cavazos; brother, Abelardo Gonzalez and son-in-law, Eusebio “Chevo” Martinez.
She leaves behind to cherish the memories she helped make her son, Adan Ricardo (Loida) Cavazos Jr. of Pharr, Texas; daughters, Martha C. (Amando) Garza and Irma C. Martinez both of Premont; sister, Maria Pulido of Harker Heights, Texas; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
