Casimiro “Casi” Naranjo, III entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at a hospital in Kingsville, Texas at the age of 82. He was born on June 11, 1937 to Casimiro Naranjo Jr. and Gertrudis Martinez Naranjo in Falfurrias, Texas. Casi was an avid tennis player. After graduating from high school, he proudly served in the United States Marine Corp and played on their baseball team. Casi went to the Nationals in the Senior Olympics as an accomplished tennis player.
Casi always stayed true to his faith and was an active member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He dedicated his time as a Eucharist Minister, CCD Teacher, Church Marriage Council and Aide for the Teenage Search and Outreach Retreat in San Juan.
Casimiro was also a lifetime member of the Knight of Columbus and member of the Brooks County Hospital Board, BCISD School Board and Hospital Board.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Alba Estella Naranjo of Falfurrias; two sons, Noel (Sarah) Naranjo of Missouri City, Texas and Noe (Diana) Naranjo of Falfurrias; daughter, Norma (Roy) Serrano of San Marcos, Texas; two brothers, Robert Naranjo of Houston and George (Pam) Naranjo of Stafford, Texas; two sisters, Corina (Larry) Molina of Falfurrias and Mary (Herb) Riojas of Freer, Texas; three grandchildren, Ryan Naranjo, Jared (Natasha) Monical and Kristen Monical; three great-grandchildren, Lilly Monical, Owen Monical and Camilla Monical and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Pallbearers will be Larry Molina, Jr., Lionel Vela Jr., Rick Selvera, Michael Guerra, Edmund Perez, Fred Riojas and Ted Riojas.

Rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, February 7, 2020 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 8:00 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias. Services will conclude at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Falfurrias with Military Honors.
