Clarence L. Cross

C.L. Cross born Clarence Louie Cross January 5, 1930 to Louie Cross and Alma McDonald Cross. C.L. married Junah V. Vaughn June 29, 1951. Mr. Cross was a Supervisor for Trinity Gas Plant for 32 years before his retirement. He was preceded in death by his father, three sisters, his mother Alma Shely, a brother Jim Shely, his daughter Lavana Myane and two great-grandchildren Dylan A. Cross and Caleb J. Broussard. He is survived by his wife Junah V. of Premont, Texas, a daughter Patricia L. Broussard of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, a son Roy D. Cross of Lake Mathis, Texas, a brother Terry Ray Shely and three sisters Alma Carver of Corpus Christi, Texas, Minnie Pierce of Beaumont, Texas, Norma Jean Melon of Houston, Texas, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday March 23, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Falfurrias, Texas.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday March 24, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Premont, Texas, with burial following at the Premont Cemetery.
