

He was born on November 23, 1945 to Felix Chong and Quintina Enriquez in Cuauthemoc, Mexico. Clemente loved hunting, cooking, and was a hard worker. He worked as a Heavy Machine Operator with the City of Premont Water Department, before his retirement. He was a loving husband, father, brother grandpa and friend.
Mr. Chong is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Josephine Tijerina, brothers Armando Villasana and Remigio Chong.
He is survived by his wife Edna Mae Chong of Premont, a son Felix Chong of Kingsville, daughter Annette (Jorge Santillano) Chong of Premont, step-daughter Yesenia Araguez of McAllen, five brothers Arturo Chong of Cuathemoc, Eugenio Chong of Altamira, Jose Dominguez of Madero, Alberto Dominguez of Tampico and Ernesto Villasana of Madero, seven sisters Dalia Chong and Maria Del Carmen Chong both of Tampico, Flor Maria Chong of Matamoros, Olga Chong of Tampico, Martha Munoz of Madero, Aurora Villasana of Mexico City, and Sandra Fuller of Chicago, Illinois, 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday April 16, 2010 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Falfurrias. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday April 17, 2010 at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Premont; with burial following at the Premont Cemetery.
