Cruz G. Ramirez

Cruz G. Ramirez, 77, passed away Friday, November 1, 2013 at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. Mrs. Ramirez was born on August 28, 1936 to Alberto and Crisanta Perez Garcia in Encino, Texas. Cruz worked as an Office Manager for Halliburton Oilfield Services before her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Juan Lino Ramirez, III.

She is survived by four daughters, Norma (Juan) Flores of Hebbronville, Texas, Maria D. Ramirez of Corpus Christi, Adriana (Tony) Hernandez of Hebbronville and Olga E. (Sam) Perez of Alice, Texas; three brothers, Claudio Perez of San Antonio, Texas, Alfonso (Elsa) Garcia of Premont, Texas and Pedro P. (Angelita) Garcia of Corpus Christi; two sisters, Ercilia (Homer) Carvajal of Sejita, Texas and Maria Hinojosa of Falfurrias, Texas; eight grandchildren, Antonio (Gina) Hernandez, Jr., Ademar Daniel Hernandez, Adrian Javier Hernandez, John Michael Flores, Stephen Michael Flores, Zachary Isaiah Garcia, Mia Rae Perez, and Megan Olivia Perez; great granddaughter, Stella Ludim Hernandez and the father of Cruz's children, Juan Lino Ramirez, Jr. of Hebbronville.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 with a Rosary being prayed at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Hebbronville.

Funeral mass will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville.

A private burial will follow at a later date.
