David R. Maldonado

David R. Maldonado entered into eternal peace on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at his residence in Woodsboro, Texas at the age of 64. He was born on June 15, 1951 to Humberto Maldonado and Ester Rodriguez Maldonado in Falfurrias, Texas. David worked for over 18 years with Haas Construction of Corpus Christi, Texas. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, antique cars and scratch-off lottery tickets.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Arturo Maldonado and his grandparents, Felipe and Christina Rodriguez.

He leaves his memories to be cherished by his wife, Delia Rocha of Woodsboro; his two sons, Felipe Maldonado Flores of Edinburg, Texas and Noe Maldonado of Indiana; three daughters, Melissa (Rafael) Rios of Chicago, Illinois, Ester Maldonado of Indiana and Lorraine Maldonado of Woodsboro; one step-daughter, Christina (Homer) Garcia of Victoria, Texas; one brother, Trinidad Maldonado of Falfurrias; six sisters, Terri Calderon of Falfurrias, Alicia (George) Williams of Mathis, Texas, Maria (Juan) Garcia of Premont, Texas, Oralia Maldonado of Baytown, Texas, Yolanda (Gilbert, Jr.) Garza and Gloria (Arturo) Garza both of Falfurrias; nine grandchildren, three step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 26, 2016 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias. Burial will follow at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
