

Dora L. Villarreal entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 9, 2015 at her residence in Falfurrias, Texas at the age of 90. Dora was born on April 1, 1924 to Lorenzo Lawrence and Elisa Flores Lawrence in Los Ebanos, Texas. Dora worked as the Office Manager for the Agriculture Soil Conservation Service of Falfurrias and retired in 1988 after over 29 years of service. She was a very devoted and noble wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. She was a beautiful woman, inside and out.
As Dora entered into the gates of Heaven, she was reunited with her parents; her husband, Roberto Villarreal, Sr.; sister, Estephana “Fannie” Guerra and son-in-law, Lato Barrera. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her two sons, Roberto (Sherri) Villarreal, Jr. of Seguin, Texas and Richard (Gracie) Villarreal of Edinburg, Texas; two daughters, Norma Barrera of Premont, Texas and Oma E. (Esteban) Garcia of Tacubaya Ranch, Texas; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren and three nieces who will all miss her sincerely.
Gratitude is expressed towards Ella Mejia, Lucy Ortiz and Rose Gonzalez for their wonderful companionship and care during their homecare for Dora.
Pallbearers will be Roberto Villarreal, Jr., Richard Villarreal, Esteban Garcia, Michael Villarreal, Eddie Garcia and Ricky Garcia.
A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2015at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 13, 2015 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias. Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
