Eboli M. Gonzalez entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at her daughter’s residence in Premont, Texas surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 22, 1927 to Rufino G. Montemayor and Olivia Carrasco Montemayor in Premont and gracefully reached the age of 92. Together with her husband, Longino O. Gonzalez, they owned and operated Kino’s Grocery and Market in Premont. She was a devout Catholic with a strong belief in her faith. She also enjoyed baking and loved raising her children and grandchildren.

Eboli was welcomed into Heaven by the Lord; her parents; husband and brother, Jose Omar Montemayor.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her three daughters, Diana Maria (Jaime) Medina of Pearland, Texas, Rebecca Teresa (Eduardo) Pulido of Premont and Yvette Gonzalez of Laredo, Texas; brothers, Rufino Montemayor, Jr. of Premont and Hector (Rosalinda Alaniz) Carrasco of Arlington, Texas; sister, Elpidia King of Plano, Texas; seven grandchildren, Marili Medina, Jaime (Ecaterina “Kate”) David Medina, Angelique (Eduardo Javier) Garcia, Monique (Ramon) Godines, Gabriel (Sitarra) Pulido, Yvonne Yvette Ruiz and Juan Noel Ruiz; eleven great-grandchildren and numerous extended family members.

Pallbearers will be Gabriel Pulido, Jaime David Medina, Juan Noel Ruiz, E.J. Garcia, Nomar Garcia and Refino Montemayor, III.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2020 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with a 50 person maximum occupancy. Funeral Mass will be private and services will conclude with a Burial at 4:00 p.m. at the Premont Cemetery.
