Elias Garcia

Elias Garcia, 76, was called home by the Lord on Saturday May 17, 2013 at a hospital in San Antonio, Texas. He was welcomed into the gates of Heaven by his parents, Ysidro Garcia and Epigmenia Trevino Garcia. Elias was born on November 6, 1936 in Falfurrias, Texas. He worked many years as a carpenter.

Elias leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving wife, Gerry Spillman Garcia of Falfurrias, TX; four sons, Lito (Judy) Garcia of Tooele, Utah, Kenneth (Lynn) Duval of West Jordan, Utah, Brandon (Monica) Garcia of Conroe, Texas and Justin (Gina) Garcia of San Marcos, Texas; 4 daughters, Norma (Steve) Julian of Salem, Utah, Nelda Martinez of Midvale, Utah, Valerie Davis of Wendover, Nevada and Kathy (Tom) Virgin of Winnemucca, Nevada; one brother, Timo (Becca) Garcia of Hebbronville, Texas; two sisters, Melba (Wayne) Atha of Bridgeton, New Jersey and Lole Maxwell of Los Molinos, California; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with a meal immediately following at the Holiday Inn Express in Falfurrias.
