Elma Guadalupe Pena

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Elma Guadalupe Pena, was called by our Lord on Monday, July 12, 2021 at a Corpus Christi hospital. She was born on September 21, 1944 in Hebbronville, TX. to Martin Dimas and Ester Garza Dimas.

Elma was a CCD teacher and loved serving the Lord.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jose Dimas; sister, Lydia Alarcon and grandson in law, Steven McFaul

Elma leaves behind many fond memories that will be treasured by her lifetime partner her husband, Tranquilino Pena of Hebbronville; children, Martin David (Ruth) Pena of Edinburg, Anna Lisa (Barry) Major of Orange Grove and Valentin Ariel (Kathy) of Oklahoma; sister, Maria Ester (Terry) Wilson of Falfurrias; grandchildren, Nadine Major, Mikaela Pena, Harlie Pena, Mereda Major, Maya Pena, Amber Major, Miranda Pena, Valentin Pena and Joseph Pena; special great grandchildren Kayden Major, Kaler McFaul and Kyle McFaul

Pallbearers will be Eric Johnson, Luis Daniel Sanchez, Mereda Major, Maya Pena, Amber Major, Ishamael

Visitation will start at 7:30 a.m. with a Holy rosary to be prayed at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, July 16, 2021 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams, Hebbronville. Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will conclude at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
