Mrs. Emma F. Falcon Garcia

Mrs. Emma F. Garcia, at the age of 81, passed away June 26, 2010 surrounded by her family in Baytown, Texas. She was born on March 28, 1929 in Los Martinez, Tamaulipas. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Alejo Garcia (Concepcion, Texas), her mother and father Aurelia and Cruz Falcon (Los Martinez, Tamaulipas), her brother Raul Falcon (McAllen, Texas), and her sister Ernestina Falcon (McAllen, Texas). Emma F. Garcia was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to all she knew. She was the life of the party and always placed others before herself. She prayed for everyone especially those who had no one to pray for them. Emma F. Garcia is survived by her daughters Maria Margarita (Roberto) Araujo (Baytown, Texas) and Elda Dalia (Ramiro) Rodriguez (McAllen, Texas). Grandchildren Robert Jr., Daniel Javier, Elizabeth Marie Araujo (Baytown, Texas) and Alex Rodriguez (McAllen, Texas). Sister Elida Cantu (McAllen, Texas) and Oscar Falcon (McAllen, Texas). Nieces Elvia Saenz, Dr. Maria Elena Falcon, Sonia Falcon and nephews Alonzo Cantu, Juan Raul Falcon, and Oscar Falcon Jr. She will be missed by her soon to be grandson-in-law, Omar Serna and her honorary daughter and son, Alicia and Abel Garcia, and all those who love her.

Rosary will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 7 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias, Texas. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 10 a.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Mission, Texas. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Garden in Mission, Texas.
