I was saddened to hear of Erasmo's passing--we were classmates and friends throughout our school years in Falfurrias and it was always a joy to visit with him whenever we had a get-together of former students. During one of our last conversations I told Erasmo that I used to see him pass our house on his way to school, which let me know that I had better hurry up! He will be missed by all who knew him, I am sure.
