Estela S. Guerrero

Estela S. Guerrero, 90, was called home by the Lord on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at her daughter’s residence in Houston, Texas. She was born on April 23, 1923 to Nicanor Salinas and Paula Ramirez Salinas in Hebbronville, Texas. Estela was a homemaker.

Estela was welcomed into the gates of Heaven by her parents; her husband, Concepcion Guerrero; her son, Mario Alberto Guerrero; brothers, Eloy and Efrain Salinas and her sister, Elva S. Honeycutt.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her five loving children, Jose C. (Diana) Guerrero, Alan D. (Yolanda) Guerrero, Hector L. Guerrero, Ana M. (Juan) Sanchez all of the Houston, Texas area and Gloria G. (Arnoldo) Garza of Hebbronville, Texas; brother, Luis Felipe (San Juanita) Salinas of Hebbronville, Texas; three special nieces, Jean H. Trevino, Eva M. Silva and Elizabeth A. Galvan; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2013 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Hebbronville with the Catholic Daughter’s Service at 6:00 p.m. and a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville.

Burial will follow at New Hebbronville Cemetery.
