Estella G. Alaniz

Estella G. Alaniz entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at a hospital in Laredo, Texas at the age of 93. She was born on August 25, 1921 to Federico Guerra and Bernardina Garcia Guerra in Duval County, Texas. Estella was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt.

Estella entered into the gates of Heaven and was reunited with her parents; her husband, Trinidad Alaniz; granddaughters, Jennifer Alaniz and Allison Alaniz and all her brothers and sisters. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her five sons, Jesus Maria Alaniz of Hebbronville, Texas, Eduardo Alaniz, Jr., Trinidad (Mary Alice) Alaniz, Jr. and Jose Luis (Ninfa) Alaniz all of Realitos, Texas and Alfredo (Irma) Alaniz of Alice, Texas; three daughters, Adela (Lauro Carrillo) Rivera of Benavides, Texas, Gloria (Jorge) Gonzalez of Hebbronville and Maricela (Salvador) Nunez of Dallas, Texas; 40 grandchildren; 100 great-grandchildren; 59 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews who will all miss her dearly.

Pallbearers will be William Alaniz, Jose Luis Alaniz, Jr., Alfredo Alaniz, Jr., Jesus Alaniz, Jr., Faustino Alaniz, Jesus Alaniz, III, Eric Alaniz and Marcos Alaniz.

A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2015at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville with visitation beginning at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville. Burial will follow at the Realitos Cemetery in Realitos, Texas.
