Corina, and all other family members; just found out about Genes' passing. I am very sorry for your loss. May God give you and your family the strength to persevere in this time of sadness.
We worked together for several years. We enjoyed each others' company and admittedly (now) shared intimate thoughts and feelings of our personal lives. It's how we both coped with our individual challenges of life and struggles. I am grateful to him for that! I pray that he rest in peace!

To Gene's family, please accept my sincere condolences and may the Lord bless and comfort you during this time of grief. I had the honor of working with Gene for several years at the Del Rio station, he was a great guy, a hard worker, and a terrific partner. Gene was highly respected by all those who knew and worked with him. Rest in Peace my friend.
