Faustino Guzman, age 75, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at his residence in Encino, Texas. Faustino was born December 7, 1937 to Samuel and Eva Villarreal Guzman in Encino, Texas. He was a Vietnam Era Army Veteran and worked as a Maintenance Manager for a motel before his retirement. Faustino was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Eva Guzman; two brothers, Manuel and Luis V. Guzman and two sisters, Maria Anita and Lucia Guzman.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Samuel Guzman, Jr. and Dalia Guzman of Corpus Christi, Texas and several nephews and nieces.
Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. Monday, October 21, 2013 with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at the St. Ann's Catholic Church of Encino, Texas.
Interment will follow at the San Luis Cemetery in Encino.
