Francisca H. Trevino

Francisca (Panchita) H. Trevino of Hebbronville passed away at the age of 104 at Briarcliff Nursing Home in McAllen,Tx. She was born to Alejandro and Dorotea Trevino Hernandez on December 3, 1906. In, 1914, she came to live with her other family Eustorgio and Maria de Jesus Trevino. She remained with them the rest of her life. She grew up with her sister Velia Trevino Paz and brother Nicolas P. Trevino who precede her in death.

Panchita was a talented seamstress, accomplished cook and a wonderful friend. She took pride in calling her own those she helped to rear. Throughout her life she gave much of herself to the family, her church and her friends. She never forgot her other family and visited often with her mother Dorotea Trevino Hernandez and her youngest sister Margarita H. Alvarado in San Antonio, Texas. Her nieces Maria Hernandez of Houston and Virginia Salazar of San Antonio.

Her nieces Maria Hernandez of Houston and Virginia Salazar of San Antonio often visited Panchita while in Hebbronville. Her nephew Gustavo Perez visited Panchita while at Briarcliff Nursing Home in McAllen.

She is survived by her family Leticia Paz ( M.J. Mayo) Pena, Fernando (Olga) Paz Jr., Ricardo (Ruth Marie) Paz, Frances (+Raul)Paz, Miguel (+Aurora) Ramos and many other nieces and nephews

Other members of their immediate family included sisters Margarita H. Alvarado of San Antonio, Eugenia (Deceased), Feliz Perez (Deceased from Pharr-San Juan) and Maria Martinez (Deceased), Alejandra Martinez (Deceased) brother Juventino Hernandez of Lopeno, Texas

Rosary was recited at 7pm Sunday, September 18, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams, Hebbronville

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am Monday, September 19, 2011 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church

Burial will follow at the New Hebbronville Cemetery

Pallbearers will be M.J. Pena, Mike Ramos, Fernando C. Paz, Jr., Ricardo Paz, Jaime Luera and Fernando M. Paz
