Francisco Rios

Francisco Rios, 76, entered into eternal rest on August 4, 2025 at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born June 3, 1949 to Mateo V. Rios and Beatriz A. Rios in Rios, Texas. Francisco was a Vietnam Army Veteran and was a Construction Engineer for many years before his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Janie Caldwell.

Francisco is survived by his wife, Manuela B. Rios of Premont, Texas, three sons, Francisco (Eva) Rios Jr. of Premont, Rogelio B. (Lorena) Rios of Rios, Texas, and Jose Ricardo (Maria) Rios of Fort Worth, Texas; five brothers, Mateo Rios of Corsicana, Texas, Noe Rios of Fort Worth, Raul Rios of Falfurrias, Texas, Ruben Rios of Fort Worth, and Rene Rios of Bryan, Texas; a sister, Josefina Canales of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Francisco Rios III, Rick Rios, Abigail Rios, Eliana Rios, Ethan Rios, and Alessandra Rios; two step-grandchildren, Arissa Thomas, and C.J. Thomas, and one step-great-granddaughter, Aaliyah Amor Barrientes; many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Francisco Rios Jr., Rogelio B. Rios, Jose Ricardo Rios, Francisco Rios III, Ricky Rios, and Ethan Rios. Honorary Pallbearer is Josh Rios.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday August 13, 2025 with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 14, 2025 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church of Premont. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m., with Military Honors, at the Coastal Bend State Veteran Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas.
