Gabriel Ruiz Sr.

Gabriel Ruiz Sr. was welcomed into the gates of Heaven on Sunday, January 10, 2016 in Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of 63. He was born on February 2, 1952 to Valentin Ruiz and Margarita Gomez in Hebbronville, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Gabriel Elario Ruiz. He leaves behind to cherish his wonderful memories his four sons, Gabriel (Pamela) Ruiz, Jr. of Hebbronville, Gaviel (Miranda) Ruiz of Corpus Christi, Joel Ruiz of Corpus Christi and Edwardo Alberto (Claire) Ruiz of Laredo; his brothers, Tomas (Maria J.) Ruiz, Valetin Ruiz, Gregorio (Olivia) Ruiz all of Hebbronville and Ramon (Cecilia) Ruiz of El Paso, Texas; sisters, Oralia (Nino) Alaniz of Hebbronville and Virginia Gomez of San Antonio, Texas and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Rey Gomez, Rene Gomez, Pauly Ruiz, Gregoria Ruiz, Jr., Jay Buenrostro, Javier Ruiz and Mark Gonzalez.

Holy rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville with visitation beginning at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville. Burial will follow at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
