Gilberto G. Andrade

Gilberto G. Andrade entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at his residence in Falfurrias, Texas at the age of 73. He was born on December 3, 1950 to Pedro Andrade and Genoveva Gutierrez Andrade in Falfurrias.

Gilbert worked mostly as a landscaper but also did several odd jobs, on and off, throughout his lifetime. He was a great dad who was always there when needed and loved helping people whenever he could. He cared deeply for animals, especially any strays he would see in the community. Gilbert shared love with everyone he knew.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Gloria Sanchez and granddaughter, Samantha Jo Cervantes.

He is survived by his son, Gilberto (Letty) Andrade, Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughters, Veronica Medina of Falfurrias and Marissa (Juan Gabriel Salazar) Cervantes of San Antonio, Texas; niece, Letty (AB) Mireles of Falfurrias; great-nephew, Abel Mireles of Midland, Texas and many grandchildren and extended family members.

Special appreciation is expressed to his caretaker, Tina Cruz, for her patient and dedicated care for Gilbert.

Private Family Services will be held at a later date.
