Gloria G. Adrian entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at a hospital in Austin, Texas at the age of 82. She was born on August 13, 1940 to Luis S. Adrian and Hortencia Garcia Adrian in Premont, Texas. Gloria’s first job was working for Dr. Buck in Premont, and then she went on to obtain her degree as an x-ray technician at St. Philip’s College in San Antonio, Texas. Gloria worked numerous years as an X-ray Technician at several different hospitals throughout her career before her retirement. She had many hobbies including crossword puzzles, crocheting, bird watching, watching sports with her son-in-law, spending time with her friends and traveling with her family.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Hilda and Maricela Adrian; brothers, Luis Adrian and Luis Rene (Norma) Adrian; nephews, Martin “Marty” Adrian and Luis Rene Adrian, Jr. and niece, Yvonne E.A. Castillo.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Hilda (John Curry) Longoria-Curry of Corpus Christi, Texas; son, Regino “Reggie” Longoria, III of Kerrville, Texas; brothers, Mario Adrian and Johnny (Lynn) Adrian; sisters, Thelma Bernal, Lydia (John) Castillo, Mary Lou Navarro, Norma Sue Adrian and Janie (Santiago Ramos) Adrian; five grandchildren, Bianca Nia (Ryan Cochrane) Longoria, Arianna Curry, Alexa Curry, Anne-Marie Curry and Ashley Nicole Scialdo; her beloved grand-dog, Bella and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Pallbearers will be Adrian Galindo, Russell Galindo, André Adrian, Giovanni Adrian, Luis Adrian, Johnny Adrian, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Marlo Adrian, Vanessa Adrian-O’Ryan, Tara Dudenhoeffer, Veronica Serna, Xenia Adrian-Benavides, Mia Adrian, Isaac Adrian, Santiago Ramos, Julio O’Ryan and Xavier O’Ryan.
Rosary will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 10, 2023 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 12:00 p.m. at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Premont and services will conclude with Burial at the Premont Cemetery.
