Gonzala L. Gomez

Gonzala L. Gomez, entered into enteral rest on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at hospital in Alice, Texas at the age of 82. She was born on March 10, 1938 to Amado Luera and Tomasa Cruz Luera in Chapeno, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Antonio Gomez; daughter, Mary Pena; grandson, Larry James Rose Jr. and siblings, Gilberto Luera, Fernando Luera, Roberto Luera, Alberto Luera and Alonzo Luera.

Gonzala leaves behind many fond memories that will be cherished by her daughters, Esmeralda (Joe) Lopez of Victoria, Texas, Esther (Leo) Gutierrez, of Hebbronville, Texas, Esperanza (Cesar) Sanchez of Victoria, Texas and Eva (Juan) Garza of Hebbronville; siblings, Maria Ninfa Luera of Falcon, Texas, Amanda Cruz of Garceno, Texas, Benito (Lupe) Luera of Falcon; Gregorio Luera of Mission, Texas, Reynaldo (Laura) Luera of Falcon; 20 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren and numerous extended family members.

Pallbearers will be Rene Gomez, Juan A. Garza, Mauro Moreno, Tito Moreno, Jr. Isaiah Morales, Eduardo Morales and Daniel Garza.

Graveside Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at the Greenhill Cemetery in Jim Hogg County.
