Graciela Garcia

Graciela Garcia, age 69, of Houston, Texas passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022 at the age of 69. Graciela was born April 14, 1953 to Ponciano Alvizo Lopez and Maria Luisa Flores Lopez. Graciela enjoyed cooking and dancing. She also loved her dogs, Buddy and Tapioca.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leo Garcia; son, Adrian Garcia; mother, Maria Luisa Flores Lopez; father, Ponciano Alvizo Lopez; siblings, Ponciano Lopez Jr., Abelardo Lopez, Steve Lopez, Victoria Lopez, Paula Russell and Maria Luisa Mendoza; father-in-law, Leovigildo Garcia and daughter-in-law, Patricia Longoria Garcia.

Left to cherish her memories is her mother-in-law, Olesia Longoria Garcia; son, Leo (Ileana) Garcia; daughter-in-law, Juliet Perry; grandchildren, Brittany (David) Rodriguez, Gabriel Garcia, Adrian Garcia, Sabrina Alexi Garcia, Delila Alani Garcia, Carley (Ismael) Zuniga and Elizabeth (Avery) Murdock. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren, Emiliano Gabriel Rodriguez, Emma Eloisa Zuniga and Elena Rose Zuniga; brothers, Jose Alfredo Lopez, Juan Jesus Lopez and sister, Elizabeth Fernandez.

The family would like to give special thanks to Juliet Perry for taking care of mom these last few months.

A Visitation for Graciela will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023 with a Rosary to follow at 6:30 PM. and a Funeral Service at 7:00 PM.

On Friday, October 14, 2022, Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias beginning at 10:00 a.m. A Rosary will follow at 12:00 p.m. and services will conclude with Burial at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
