Hector Guerrero

Our Father, Hector Guerrero Sr., or "La Palma" as many knew him, was called home on Sunday, September 7, 2025 in Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of 74. He was born on January 2, 1951 in Hebbronville, Texas to Erasmo & Guadalupe "Lupita" Garcia Guerrero.

He is preceded in death by his mother Lupita, and three brothers, Servando, Leonel and Homero Guerrero.

Hector leaves behind to cherish his precious and loving memories his four children, Veronica Guerrero Gonzales, Lorena Guerrero both Falfurrias, Texas, Hector (Yolanda) Guerrero Jr. of Brownwood, Texas, and Crystal Guerrero of Falfurrias; father, Erasmo Guerrero of Hebbronville; brother, Ramiro (Josephina) Guerrero Sr. of Zapata, Texas; sister, Nelda Guerrero of Hebbronville; grandchildren, Tommy Joe Gonzales, Julian Anthony Hernandez, Derrick Jace Ebright, and Amaya Renee Guerrero.

Our father retired as a truck driver after over 30 years of dedicated service. He will forever be remembered for his spontaneous road trips, family gatherings, and most of all, his passion for Loteria, pan dulce, and watching football games.

Pallbearers will be Hector Guerrero Jr., Leonel Guerrero Jr., Ramiro Guerrero Jr., Jose A Guerrero, Tommy Joe Gonzales, Julian A. Hernandez, Severiano Guevara and Severiano Guevara Jr.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Servando Guerrero Jr., Rene Guerrero, and Juan Francisco Guerrero.

Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, September 12, 2025 with a Holy rosary to be prayed at 9:30 a.m. at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Hebbronville. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville with services concluding with Burial at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
