Heriberto Gonzalez

Heriberto “La Maravilla” Gonzalez, 85, passed away on May 6, 2012 at a hospital in Alice, TX. He was born on January 3, 1927 to Clemente Gonzalez and Josefa Hinojosa Gonzalez in Falfurrias, TX.Heriberto graduated from Falfurrias High School in 1945 and proudly served our country during WWII for the United States Army. He later worked for the Falfurrias Facts for over 50 years until his retirement and then became the business owner of Falfurrias Stationary, an office supply store, for about eight years. He is preceded in death by his parents and nephew Javier Joel Gonzalez. He is survived by his brother, Salvador (Esperanza) Gonzalez of Falfurrias, Texas; nephew, Salvador “Sonny” Gonzalez, Jr. of Austin, Texas; two nieces, Melissa Gonzalez of San Antonio, Texas and Kathy Gonzalez of Austin, Texas and eight great-nieces and nephews.

Rosary will recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias, Texas with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Graveside Service will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Falfurrias.
