Hilda M Serna

Hilda M. Serna, 58, went to be with the Lord on October 3, 2013. She is preceded in death by her parents, Aurelio and Marina P. Mendez; sisters, Estella M. Guerra, Gloria Villarreal and Cristela Torres; brothers, Jesus Mendez, Adalberto Mendez, Aurelio Mendez Jr. and Leonel Mendez Sr.

She is survived by her husband, Jose A. Serna; daughters, Solia Marroquin and Georgina R. Mendez; grandchildren, Ana Lee Marroquin and Damacio Villarreal, III; sisters, Ester Serna and Minnie Mendez; brothers, Juan (Grace) Mendez and Jorge L. (Frances) Mendez all of Hebbronville and 42 nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Mark Mendez, Horacio Garcia, Aviel Mendez, Ramiro Morales, Betty Mendez, Melanie Cuellar, Valerie Gutierrez and Sonia Mendez.

Holy rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 7, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Burial will follow at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
