Homar Perez entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at his residence in Encino, Texas, at the age of 68. He was born on December 4, 1956, in Falfurrias, Texas, to Eliseo Perez and Marta Ramirez Perez.
For several years of his life, Homar worked as a gate guard and dedicated numerous years serving his community as a volunteer firefighter with the Southern Brooks County Fire Department. A hardworking man, he also spent much of his life doing construction and general labor, always finding satisfaction in a hard day’s work.
He found great peace working outdoors at the ranch, which he often described as therapeutic. A proud and loyal Dallas Cowboys fan, Homar was often seen in Cowboys’ attire. He loved the simple joys of life - hunting, fishing, and most especially, spending time with his family.
A spiritual man, Homar was a reader for church services, reflecting his quiet faith and connection to his community.
