Horacio Villarreal Jr.

Horacio Villarreal, Jr., 74, passed away September 4, 2011 at a hospital in McAllen, Texas. He was born on May 17, 1937 to Horacio Villarreal and Dolores Barrera Villarreal in Falfurrias, Texas. Horacio was a Falfurrias High School graduate who served our country in the United States Air Force and returned to graduated from Texas A&I University. He then worked for the Texas Department of Human Resources for 23 years until his retirement. Horacio is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife Natalia Venecia Villarreal of Falfurrias, TX and four sons Ricardo Javier (Jennifer) Villarreal of Houston, TX, Horacio Villarreal III of Falfurrias, TX, Carlos Villarreal of Falfurrias, TX and Roberto Joel (Maria) Villarreal of McAllen, TX. Horacio is also survived by his brother Benito (Yolanda) Villarreal of Los Fresnos, TX, sister Dolores Villarreal of Falfurrias, TX and five grandchildren Nina Olivia Villarreal, David Noah Villarreal and Reed Ricardo Villarreal all of Houston, TX and Sophia Isabella Villarreal and Natalia Diane Villarreal both of McAllen, TX.

A Rosary will be recited on at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias.

Burial will follow at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
