He was born on February 29, 1948 to Benancio G. Cabrera and Julia Herrera Cabrera in Premont, TX,
He was employed for 25 years with the City of Corpus Christi, before his retirement.
His parents, brothers Reynaldo and Benancio Cabrera, sister Ernestina Cabrera, precede him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Delia Cabrera of Corpus Christi, TX, three sons, Humberto Cabrera, Jr. (Liz), Michael Ramirez, and Benancio Jesus Cabrera all of Corpus Christi, TX, five brothers Jose Cabrera, Leopoldo Herrera, Leonel Cabrera, Lorenzo Cabrera and Manuel Cabrera all of Premont, TX and two grandchildren, Ezaiah Humberto Cabrera and Enzo Cabrera.
Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday December 16, 2010 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Falfurrias, TX. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday December 17, 2010 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Premont, TX, with burial following at the Premont Cemetery.
