

JoAnn Longoria entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at a hospital in Kingsville, Texas at the age of 63. She was born on October 8, 1958 to Charles Lewis Headworth and Clara Mildred Brown Headworth in Cincinnati, Ohio.
JoAnn and her family were the proud owners of Breeze Inn, a well-known food establishment in Falfurrias, for 10 years. She had a passion for working with children and was proud to have been able to be a substitute teacher with BCISD for many years, where she enjoyed helping in the Special Education department. She was an excellent carpenter’s assistant, where she worked alongside her husband and children, as they built their entire home, from the ground up. She was fond of social media, especially popular on Twitter. She was intelligent and creative, even getting a letter to President George Bush, Sr. published. She had a creative mind and loved to bake.
She was reunited in Heaven with her parents; husband of over 45 years, Cecilio Longoria, Jr.; son, Victor Longoria; brothers, Fred Lewis and Charles Headworth and brother-in-law, Eddie Ellington.
She is survived by her three sons, Kevin (Lisa) Coleman of Kingsville, Texas, Cecilio Michael Longoria of Falfurrias and Vincent Longoria of Beaumont, Texas; two daughters, Amy Longoria of Corpus Christi, Texas and Valerie Longoria of Beaumont; sister, Mary Ann Ellington of Mississippi; sisters-in-law, Gina Headworth and Valerie Parks both of Texas; 13 grandchildren, Heather, Evelyn, Cierra, Colton, Elijah, Layla, Mark, Christina, Marissa, Catalina, Victoria, Javier and Bianca; 11 great-grandchildren, Trevon, Michael, Gabriela, Isaiah, Omar, Sara, Isais, Jeremias, Aurora, Jhoan and Deacon and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
