Joaquin Ramirez, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 16, 2021 at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of 47. He was born on December 9, 1973 to Joaquin Ramirez and Martha Martinez Ramirez in Oakland, California. Joaquin worked for over seven years with Texas Energy out of Alice, Texas. He later ventured out into lawn care and several other odd jobs until he became ill. He was a jokester who was always ready to make someone laugh. He loved working on cars and detailing in his spare time as well as caring for his lemon tree. He was a giving man who would give all that he had, with no questions asked or the need for anything in return. Joaquin had a love for all kinds of music, fast cars, racing and the sound of loud mufflers made him smile. His son, Joaquin, III was his pride and joy and when he would talk about him, he beamed with pure love. He gained a daughter, Jada, when he married his wife, Pamela, and together they would watch cartoons, which became a bonding time for them.
Joaquin was reunited in Heaven with his maternal grandparents, Jamie and Rosario Martinez.
He leaves behind to cherish his wonderful memories his caring wife, Pamela Sue Whetzel Ramirez of Falfurrias, Texas; son, Joaquin (Amber) Ramirez, III of Falfurrias; daughter, Jada Whetzel of Falfurrias; father, Joaquin Ramirez of Mexico; mother, Martha M. Ramirez of Falfurrias; sister, Rosario Montalvo of California; many uncles and aunts; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends and his dog whom he loved dearly, Coco.
Graveside Services will be conducted on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
