Jorge “Cookie” Jimenez, 49, passed away Friday, December 4, 2020 at a Laredo Hospital. He was born July 20, 1971 to Marin and Esperanza Chavez Jimenez in the town of Knox City, Texas.

Cookie was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his mother, Esperanza C. Jimenez of Hebbronville, Texas; four brothers, Marin (Emilia) Jimenez Jr. of Hebbronville, Ricardo Jimenez of Beaumont, Texas, Geronimo (Irma) Velazquez, Jr. and Daniel Enrique (Mayra) Velasquez both of Laredo; nine sisters, San Juana (Javier) Cerda of Laredo, Sonia (Ricardo) Lopez of Mirando City, Texas, Frances Moreno and Mary Jimenez both of Hebbronville, Concepcion Jimenez of Michigan, Esperanza (Manuel) Vidaurri of Mirando City, Texas, Maria Luisa Velasquez of Laredo, Margarita (Daniel) Natividad and Angelica Velasquez both of Hebbronville and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Talk will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 17, 2020 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams Chapel through the use of Zoom. Burial will follow at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
