He was born February 4, 1952 to Leonel and Aurora De Los Santos Cavazos in the town of Falfurrias, TX. Jose Maria known as Sunshine was a lifelong resident of Falfurrias.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Jose Maria is survived by a brother, Leonel Cavazos Jr. of Encino, TX and a sister, Linda Cavazos of Falfurrias.
Visitation will be at 11:00 a.m. with a Rosary being prayed at 12:00 p.m. Monday April 10, 2023 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams. Graveside services will follow at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
