Jose Luis Guerra

Jose Luis “Big Joe” Guerra passed away Wednesday February 27, 2019 at a Lake Jackson Hospitlal at the age of 62. Big Joe as he was known was born April 2, 1956 to Servando and Zoila Garcia Guerra in the city of Alice, TX. He was a forklift operator. Mr. Guerra was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Diamantina Guerra. He is survived by two sons Carlos M. Guerra of Austin, TX, and Emilio L. Guerra of Falfurrias, a brother Servando Guerra of Falfurrias, two sisters Maria Rosario Chapa and Carla L. Guerra both of Premont, TX.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Monday March 4, 2019 with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00.pm. at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday March 5, 2019 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, interment will follow at later date.
