Josefina F. Garza

With profound sadness and deep love, we announce the passing of Josefina Flores Garza, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at the age of 78.

Josefina lived a life defined by unwavering faith, unconditional love, and selfless devotion to her family. She was the beloved wife, a devoted mother, a cherished sister, and a treasured friend whose kindness and generous spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

As the proud mother of 13 children, Josefina’s greatest joy was her family. Her legacy continued to grow through 49 grandchildren, 83 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense pride and happiness to her life. She was also a loving sister to nine siblings, sharing a lifetime of memories, laughter, and unwavering family bonds.

She is survived by her loving children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, siblings, extended family, and countless friends whose lives were forever enriched by her love and friendship.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church - Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel in Falfurrias. Services will conclude with Burial at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
