Joseph Michael Garza, 31, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on February 10, 1994, in Kingsville, Texas, to Michael Lee Garza and Julie Guajardo.
Joseph was known for his infectious smile and the deep love he had for those around him. He had a great sense of humor, a joyful spirit, and he loved to sing. He especially enjoyed spending time and playing with his nieces. Joseph was learning and growing into his role as a father. He liked being outside working on his vehicles, and you could always find him cheering on his favorite football team, the Philadelphia Eagles.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Maria Guajardo; paternal grandfather, Frank Garza; brother, Michael Lee Garza, Jr.; and his beloved cousin, Jessica Briones.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Julie Trevino (Raudel Lopez) of Falfurrias, Texas; father, Michael Lee Garza of Falfurrias; paternal grandmother, Estella Villa of Kingsville, Texas; daughter, Emory Garza; sons, Noah Garza and Michael Lee Garza; sisters, Erica Trevino and Rebecca Trevino of Falfurrias; half-brothers, Carlos Garza of Falfurrias and Arnulfo Guajardo of Corpus Christi; nieces, Zoey, Analicia, and Miley; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Falfurrias.
